Reminders for 2019 GAA JOAD Outdoor
Welcome archers!
Here are a few reminders for the 2019 GAA State JOAD Outdoor Championships this weekend.
Help us get started on time! Check your information on theREGISTERED ARCHERSlist now. Email any corrections toinfo@gaarcheryASAP so target assignments may be corrected, if needed. Once you arrive, you may proceed to equipment inspection and then report to your target. You will not need to sign in at registration, but they will be available to answer questions.
ALL archers will participate in the elimination roundson Sunday. Divisions may be combined for brackets. Awards will be based on the performance in the eliminations, but awarded within the registered division. For example, if Male and Female Compound Cub are combined in the bracket, there will be 3 medals awarded in the Male Compound Cub divisionAND3 medals in the Female Compound Cub division. These placements are based on performance in the elimination round and progress through the bracket.
Come prepared for rain! The weather forecast for this weekend includes rain and storms. The tournament may be delayed for extreme weather, including lighting, however, we will shoot in rain as long as it is not excessive. Review the USA Archery Severe Weather Policy for more information.

Saturday, June 8 - Day 1 - 72 arrow qualification
8:00 am - Open Practice
9:00 am - Official Practice and Scoring
Sunday, June 9 - Day 2 - Eliminations
8:00 am - Open Practice
9:00 am - Eliminations begin - detailed schedule TBD
Tournament Fee: $45 per Archer
Additional $20.00 fee for late registrations after Sunday, June 1 and walk-in as available.
Eligibility: All Participants must have a membership with USA Archery. Memberships are available at www.usarchery.org. NFAA members must register for a free Temporary Membership (NFAA Only) at www.usarchery.orgprior to the event. Please note that the Recreational Membership is not eligible for participation in this event.
Archers must be a resident of Georgia to compete for State Championship awards. Guest divisions will be awarded for non-residents.
