The Shooting Sports Education Center is offering three days of fun and education at the Winter Shooting Sports Day Camp. Participants will learn the essentials of proper handling, safety procedures, range rules, etiquette and stance. In addition, they will develop valuable life skills such as physical discipline, focus, courage, confidence and problem solving skills that will benefit them as they grow and mature.

Archery – Participants will learn how to safely shoot a bow and arrow by actively engaging in different sessions including Target archery, Explore Bowhunting, and Explore Bowfishing. The program will be tailored to different levels of experience, and there will be many benefits of learning this lifelong skill. Some of these benefits include increased mental focus & self-discipline, improved coordination, increased confidence from mastering a new skill, relaxation & stress relief, teamwork & sportsmanship.

Firearms – Please see the Shooting Sports Education Center website for more details.

Those registered for both programs will bring a sack lunch to enjoy. A snack will be provided during each session.
