Youth

The JOAD Program provides archery instruction and competition for young archers across the country and in foreign countries. Through the JOAD Olympian Awards program, these archers can earn incentives as they develop and improve their scores up the ranks of Yeoman, Jr. Bowman, Bowman, Junior Archer, Archer, Master Archer, Expert Archer, Olympian, Silver Olympian and Gold Olympian. From beginners to Gold Olympians, thousands of young archers learn the fun and excitement of archery in more than 250 JOAD Clubs annually.

College

The NAA provides continuity for JOAD archers to participate in the sport beyond the age of eighteen through college programs.  The NAA's College Division includes some 45 clubs and teams.  Dues are $90 per year for each member school.  Benefits include liability insurance coverage for practices and tournaments; event information, and; opportunities to participate in indoor and outdoor national championships and qualify for All-American honors.  Collegiate archers are also eligible for NAA scholarships.  Each year the top ten male and female archers from the U.S. Intercollegiate Championship earn All-American honors and are invited to a training camp at an Olympic Training Center.

NAA Adult Program

The National Archery Association has instituted a Senior Training Program that began in 2000. The program is run similar to the NAA Junior Olympic Archery Development program, but with higher goals that offer a challenge for the adult beginner, as well as the experienced archer. There has been a great amount of interest in the program. The Senior Training Program is an easy addition to any clubs existing program. It is also perfect for pro shops without youth programs, and for those who want to add something different to their existing league-type formats for their adult members. Annual club fee is $50. However, existing JOAD clubs may add this program to their membership for an additional $25 in annual dues. Achievement patches can be earned for both Indoor and Outdoor Rounds.
